TY Drama Workshop with Bernard Casey

Bernard Casey is a comedian, actor, and drama teacher from Portmagee, Co. Kerry. Since his debut live comedy performance at UCC RAG Week in 2011, Bernard has sold-out shows at renowned venues like the INEC, Vicar Street, and The Everyman Theatre in Cork, along with performances in London, New York, and Boston. His comedy videos have amassed over 15 million views, earning him more than 130,000 followers on social media. Bernard’s passion for comedy and acting also led to the creation of his highly popular Drama Workshop for secondary school students in Ireland. This year, we were fortunate to have Bernard work with our Transition Year students. His workshop was dynamic and interactive, focusing on acting and improvisation skills. Through his guidance, many students discovered hidden talents and developed confidence in their abilities.
