Letter to Parents - 11th September 2019

Dear Parent(s), Just a brief update on items which concern you and your son here in the ERSS. Firstly, ERSS uses VSware administration. What this means for you is that you will now be able to log on to VSware through our school website www.erss.ie to check on your son’s attendance, punctuality, timetable and teachers, and his term reports. A Username and Password will be sent to you by the school over the coming days. You will receive a text with further details. You will find the VSware icon on the landing page of the school website. There is also a tutorial on how to log in. Secondly, a big thank you to those of you who have paid your sons fees re. book rental, lockers, photocopying etc. A small number of fees remain outstanding. We would appreciate if you could organise to pay these as soon as possible. You may pay online through the EasyPayments or if you have problems logging on you may call to the school office to pay. Students must be in full uniform at all times even when they are representing the school on school business. Hoodies are not part of the school uniform. If your son arrives to school without part of his uniform we will provide him with the uniform and a laundry fee will be charged. We also request students to refrain from using plastic bottles. The school will provide the students with a reusable drinks bottle with the school crest for a fee of €5 or they may purchase their own reusable bottle. Where possible we would appreciate if you would provide your son with reusable packaging for lunches etc. in order to cut back on waste. Michael Walsh Principal
