1st Year, End of Year Ceremony:

On Friday, 24th May 1st Year students and their parents/grandparents attended a ceremony to mark the end of first year for the boys in the Edmund Rice Secondary School.  

A chance for the students to reflect upon the year with the 1st Year Team, Ms. Barry, Ms. Shaw and Mr. Doyle.  

A year with many memories of classroom activities, the ups and downs on the sports field, the fun and laughter at lunchtime at Art, Book, Gardening and Chess Clubs and the many friendships formed on day trips and most recently the Junior Tour to Manchester.  

An opportunity to pause and reflect on the astonishing sum of money raised by the boys for local and national organisations during the year, a staggering 1327 euro.  

Beautiful singing by 1st Year student, C. Russell enhanced the ceremony and all students were presented with a certificate to mark completion of 1st Year.
